The ground rules for using Grant Desk.

Grant Desk is provided by Smith App Studio LLC (“we”). By creating an account or using Grant Desk you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization whose workspace you join.
Access
- Grant Desk is a subscription service licensed to organizations. Access is through an invite code issued to your organization.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Your administrator controls who is on your team and can remove members.
Your content
Your organization owns the content it puts into Grant Desk — drafts, notes, budgets and profile information. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service.
Our platform
Grant Desk itself — its software, design, features and branding — is owned by Smith App Studio LLC. Your subscription gives you a right to use it; it doesn't transfer ownership. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.
Acceptable use
- Don't enter individual patient or client health information.
- Don't use Grant Desk to break the law, misrepresent your organization to funders, or submit content you know is false.
- Don't try to access another organization's workspace or overload the service.
Information and AI
Funding information comes from public sources and can be incomplete, out of date or changed by the funder without notice. AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for checking deadlines, eligibility, amounts and every statement in anything you submit. See the disclaimer.
Availability
We work to keep Grant Desk available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. Outside services we search (such as government databases) sometimes go down; when they do, those searches may be unavailable until they return.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Smith App Studio LLC is not liable for lost funding, missed deadlines, rejected applications or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Grant Desk. Our total liability is limited to the fees your organization paid for Grant Desk in the three months before the claim.
Ending access
Your organization may stop using Grant Desk at any time. We may suspend access for non-payment or misuse. On request after your subscription ends, we'll provide an export of your organization's content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
